Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Will there be a Magnolia Rose Event Center representative available on the day of my event? A: Yes
Q: Is there a fee for using outside vendors? A: No
Q: Do you have any all inclusive packages?A: Yes. We have a pick your own. Save time and money let us handle the stress.
Q: What timeframe will the venue be available for my event? A: 9 a.m. - Midnight (unless other hours have been agreed on)
Q: Can I rent extra hours? A: Yes
Q: Is there any additional cost for the setup and takedown of chairs? A: No
Q: Do we need to acquire security for our event? A: Yes. There must be a uniformed police officer for every 100 guests if there is alcohol present. We can, however, provide this for you, we have a fantastic security group.
Q: Can cars be left overnight? A: Yes. Vehicles can be left overnight, but they must be retrieved by 9 a.m. the next morning, or it will be towed at the owner's expense.
Q: Will there be a sound system in and/or outside? A: We have a WIFI sound system inside for simple use.
Q: Can I come the day before my rental to set up? A: No
Q: Should I hire a "Day-Of Coordinator?" A: Yes. Because we care about you, we require you to have a “Day-Of” planner. Or let us handle that for you. We have a Coordinator you will LOVE!
Q: May we take engagement or bridal photos at the event? A: Yes. Once you sign your contract, you become a part of the MREC family, but we would like you to schedule them in advance.
Q: Can I provide my own alcoholic beverages? A: Yes. Following the Magnolia Rose Event Center bar rules.
Q: Is there a payment plan? A: Yes. There will be an agreed-upon plan set forth upon signing of the contract.
Q: Can I bring stuff in the day before to store? A: Yes. If the space is not rented the day before, you can store items for an additional fee of $500 and a signed waiver that MREC is not responsible for damaged or missing property.
Q: Can my items such as linens, dishes, and alcohol containers be picked up the next day? A: No
Q: Can I have a food truck at my event? A: Yes. We have a perfect place for food truck parking!
Q: Can my family or caterer cook in the kitchen? A: No. It is a prep kitchen only.
